Look at the Classifieds Recently?

Heac of a observation Mr reb. Might have a point!

Could be Tax Refunds are coming in the mail.

The market right now seems to be hot for vintage used detectors, high prices on feebay.
New detectors have too high of a price sticker for many people, so they are buying used,
and paying more for them. Also, could be folks last spend before going broke in hopes of
finding paydirt to pay for next weeks meal.....sort of like a lottery or the slots.

I see used low end detectors of 10-20+ years old going for double and triple of what they may have sold for
over the last 5 years.

My take is that people held their money for prices to fall, then found that folks held their detectors rather than give them away. Not everyone is unemployed, so when the market for nice, used detectors dried up, people needed to post WTD ads.

High demand for some units, like the Teknetics T-2, may have generally bled over to other high end units as well. Used F75, DFX, Explorer and E-trac units seem to sell within hours when reasonably priced.

All the talk of finding that gold ( over $ !000 ) an ounce have people salivating to find some.
They'll be for a surprise how easy it is to find any

Professional sports teams make trades and pick up free agents during the off season, why should professional treasure hunters be any different. Folks are just beefing up the rosters.
