"LOOK" what I found!...........

While at work yesterday "LOOK" what I found!
I was raking under some large pines and "LOOKING" at the ground while doing so.
While "LOOKING" I seen a silver looking disk in the dirt and pine needles I had raked up.
I said to my self Oh "LOOK" a silver disk.
It "LOOKS" like a knock out plug to an electrical box.
The I decided I better take a closer "LOOK".
Low and behold it says "LOOK" on it!
So what did I do? I "LOOKED" at it some more!
It is a 25th anniversary token to "Look" magazine.
"LOOK" magazine started in 1937 so the token is from 1962.
I knew it "LOOKED" familiar because I had found one before with my detector!
Moral to the story, "LOOK" around and keep your eyes open while doing things!
Just don't run into something while "LOOKING"

...a gold hoop ear ring at the hospital one evening. It was laying on the sidewalk out front. When we went in Carol gave it to the information desk.

That is a really neat token Mike, any idea of it's value?

WTG on the eyeballin. I think we will all get kind of hunched back from looking down eventually, steve in so az

it is aluminum, and one ebay they are from $1 - $8 and there are a couple varietys.

Look and see but better look where you are going or what may be around besides a silver disc because like Lisa in Alabama, ya might just rake up a snake or something bad! Congrats on finding metal and a nice one! :) God Bless!

I think it's a pretty cool find -
I enjoy tokens & historical items a lot - brings the history of the area.

:biggrin:Its an antique 10k white gold with some little diamonds in it. I had asked him what the occasion was thinking he was being romantic. he says, oh nothing I just happened to have found it on the floor going to lunch break. thought maybe you would like it. at least it fits good

I was talking to a fellow today at the grocery store. I told him about the penny I found. He said one time when he was raking leaves out in back of the priest's house, he saw something that looked like a coin. He picked it up, rubbed it off. It was an indian head penny. He kept it. Just raking leaves! And I use a detector and still haven't found one.

Not many men or romantic, dobbie, but he did give you the ring!! So, thank him and give him a big hug with kisses and the next time it could be because of his romantic love for you! ;) :) God Bless!

I am blessed with a romantic one!!! :cheekkiss: Of course he has his faults (we ALL do), but I really couldn't ask for one any better than Tim.

That is good to hear, Treasure Digger, and to be blessed with a really good husband is the best blessing anyone could have besides having Jesus as our blessed and holy Savior! A husband should love his wife like Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her and then she will treat him like a king when he treats her like a queen! Wish our marriage had been that way, but alas we both had faults and it didn't work, because he was a womanizer and finally left to live with one and still does! May God have mercy on their souls! God Bless! Betty

Well, he did bless you with the ring and he could have given it to someone else or pawned or sold it for money! So, you have a husband who cares for and loves you! May the Lord bless your marriage and children all the days of your lives! God Bless! Betty
