Looking Discovery TF900

Hi Valik,

Thanks for understanding in the PM, For some reason one of my two boxes is not working correctly. The TF-900 was the one I was going to sell and planned on keeping the TM-800 for commercial purposes.

Allot of folks don't know that the older TM-800 ( not the newer TM-808 ) are identical to the TF-900. Discovery Electronics are the maker of both the TF-900 and the older TM-800, Discovery made the TM-800 for Whites. Something happened between Whites and Discovery to have stopped their relationship, As a result Whites had to come out with a Two box of their own which is the current TM-808.

Discovery changed the name on the TM-800 to what we know today the TF-900 and sold this model under Discovery Electronics, so be on the lookout for an older TM-800 model it is identical to the TF-900 as well.

Below are a couple of pictures, a group shot of the TM-800 and TF-900 and the other a pic of the commercial tracer attachment. Both two-boxes are identical same controls, same size loops and both have the slow and fast SAT feature the only difference is the newer TF-900 is minus an intensity meter but the first TF-900 models had the intensify meter. Plus, both have the tracing feature and with an extra tracing attachment either one of these two boxes can trace a thin wire underground down to thirteen feet and up to one hundred feet in lenght.

The commercial tracing loop attachment are as rare as hens teeth, coupled with the TF-900 or TF-800 one has a true commercial detector and if they desire can make a good income locating both thin wires, pipes and large buried metal.

Set your sights for a TM-800 too, same innards as the TF-900. Great units for both commercial and pleasure, You'll eventually find one and when you do hope you find that long lost buried cache we all search for.
