Contact Rosi at Deeptech. They are easy to deal with. I have had great service from them and just ordered my 14" Epic coil for my Vista Gold from them. Really want to see what this coil will do in my hunting sites...Stuart

Frank the 14" Epic coil was only 125 Euro and 40 Euro for Shipping to me in North Carolina ( around $187.50 U.S. ) total cost. That included 5 Euro for the extra lower rod. Very reasonable price for a quality coil. I do not know the price on the 5" coil but I am sure it is less than that. Hard to imagine that the 5" round coil would give much better seperation than the small elliptical coil. It is amazing.

frank in all honesty I've had the 5" coil its ok you really want the the little super 6 eliptical much deeper in my opinion and just bit better separation too

I agree with AMC. The super 6 is really a great coil on the Vista Gold. Amazing depth for such a small coil, great seperation of targets, and really small targets hit hard with it. I thought about buying the 5" round coil but really do not think it would be a big improvement over the super 6. The one improvement to the Vista machines that I would highly recommend is the replacement knobs that deeptech offers if you have one of their older machines. They keep the knobs from slipping when turned to their limits. Big improvement! I replaced the knobs on both my Vista Gold and RG-1000 V2.

Guess I will just use my Super six coil, be a lot cheaper then going to the expense of a 5". Would probably try a 5" if I could buy one in the US.
