 Hi all,.....Well the old reddirtfisher is getting frustrated  so I need you guys and gals advise on something. I am sick and tired of these detector manufacturers who ignore letters, emails, and faxes.:throw: Would somebody please recommend me a company who really has excellent customer service and who answers emails, letters, and faxes? Oh, sure,.. I could call them but my busy schedule doesn't give me the time to do that. Thanks, RDF :detecting:

Go to the Tesoro forum and look and ask around. From the talk that goes on, the folks at Tesoro offer the best customer service that can be had.:tesoro:

m.....

Fisher & Whites & Garrett.................... & Tesoro, Minelab,

Just one thing........it might not be immediate with any company..Their all busy..... a phone call takes less time than an E-mail too. REACH OUT AND TOUCH SOMEONE LOL

RDF ........... teasing you a little............. Just about all are good, some exceptional..but none bad. Detector Pro usually answers within 15 minutes.. So has Garrett, and Fisher within 30 minutes

Emails, letters and faxes are too easy to set aside and deal with later. Make the call and you will talk with a real human. Mary at White's not only answers the phone, she is qualified to solve many problems right over the phone including sending off replacement parts and merchandise. I'm sure many other manufactures work the same.

Human to Human.

You got that right. Someone answers the phone promptly every time I call during business hours. That's just awesome.

Tesoro is second to none when it comes to customer service and warranty. Period

My sole experience was by phone with Garrett. Very good service. I agree that a phone call is the best especially if you're polite and courteous. Faxes and email in a very busy office can get lost while answering the phone for sure.

ALONG WITH, their Lifetime Warranty ,which has been offered from Tesoros' first comming into being, It has taken years for the other fellers to wake up, Good for them, as they were way past due! HH, Charlie!

Truth be told, all the mfg are poor at responding to the general contact email addy they give. The only way to get prompt replies back to your email is to send them directly to an individual.

Some of them also moniter and post right here on Findmall.

Fisher/Teknetics - Dave Johnson - Chief Engineer is always available. You can send him a PM on Findmall
Whites - Carl Moreland - Engineering Manager is always available. You can send him PM on Findmall
Tesoro - Robert Martensen - Marketing Director is always available. You can send him PM on Findmall.

You can get their forum names by going to the respective forums.

Find a good dealer for the brand you are looking for!

Then you have two people you can complain too!

From what I know, there are outstanding dealers who support this
site that I'm sure will take good care of you!

RDF,my priority would be with the performance and quality of the product, and would rate customer service lower on my priority list. Good Luck HH Ron

TESORO

The first time I called them, one of the guys explained to me a ground balancing issue I was having - which was my fault.
2nd time they sent out a battery pack for a 20yr old machine that I was not the original owner for - for free!

I have only dealt with tesoro so far, so I can't speak for the rest. In my world this type of service is hard to beat.

garrett answered my emails pretty fast and seemed very eager to help. i was just checking on the backorder info for the submersible headphones and he verified it and was very apologetic on the wait for them. i know its not his fault at all, but i still appreciated the apology and the reassurance that they are doing their best to get them out. i havent had to deal with them for a broken unit(not bad for being my 3rd garrett)

i havent dealt with tesoro personally, but i have heard many many great things(not just on the forum)

Whites by leaps and bounds has the best customer service, they go beyond the norm to make you happy. Garrett would be my next recommendation.

Too busy to call?? You don't have a cell you can use to call while driving? Fisher always answers their phone LIVE people. I have also emailed with success all the time. Probably ANY good company will return your emails and faxes and calls.
