Looking for a new coil

I have the explorer and want to buy a new coil for it. It was bought to my attention to get either an X12 or a coiltek coil. First off how does an X12 coil work around the wet salt or in the salt water? I want to know all the good and bad thoughts about this coil or any other. What coils do you all use on your explorers when not using the stock coil? Thanks, HH
