A friend of mine had this little custom made necklace piece that was made 30+ years ago by a jeweler and it is made totally from Idaho nuggets It is about the size of a nickel and weighs 2.7 grams. He had a couple of people look at it and because of it's detail an uniqueness said up to $2500.00, but would they pay that for it?? I don't think so. If you give it the bennefit of dought and called it 24kt, at a spot price of $600.00 it would be about 52.00 for melt, but I told him it's worth alot more than that.
So what say you, what do you think it should be priced at??

it is far better in real time than the picture shows

The collectors at Goldbay.com would love that one. But $2500 is a pipe dream. It's a extremely fine piece with excellent detail, made by a true craftsman!! $300-$400 would be my guess. Not a great market for old used jewelry. Thanks for sharing.Tons a au 2 u 2-John
