Looking for advice on headphones

I've been using Garrett Mastersound headphones all season long... they've worked fairly well for me, but it's time for an upgrade. I've read a ton of info on various models, but I understand different headphones work differently with various detectors... would like to hear from X-Terra users about their experiences!

Just looking for some feedback on a few models:

Sunray Pro Gold - my hunting partner uses these and swears by them... but he swings a CTX. Anyone use these with their 705?

DetectorPro Grey Ghost Ultimates - I've read mixed reviews... any 705 users sporting these muffs?

Timberwolf Headphones - haven't heard much about these at all.. but they seem like a quality product. Anyone?

Killer B's - heard that a lot of people swear by these... how do they sound paired with the 705??

I have been really happy with my Grey Ghost originals. Bought them at the recommendation of Fort Bedford Detectors.

The quality of the audio response is good with any of the headphones you listed. Personally, I really like my Gray Ghosts. They are big enough to comfortably fit y 7 3/4 sized head, the replaceable padded ear cups block out most of the ambient noise, the cord length is just right, and I like the 90 degree plug. If I had to buy another set, I'd get another set of Gray Ghosts or the SunRays as the Timberwolves and Killer Bees were both a bit tight for me. You mentioned your buddy had a pair of SunRay Golds? Try them on and see what you think. As I said, the sound will be good on all the models you mentioned. But the fit can vary by make and model. JMHO HH Randy

I like my killer bs. Killer bs and Sunray golds are made by the same company. They also have a lifetime warranty IF you have proof of purchase.

Thanks for the input, guys! So far I'm liking the Grey Ghosts... may check out the Ultimates... basically an improved version of the Originals.
