Looking for a bag/case or something to protect my coils. I hate to carry them loose in my vehicle, looking for any ideas. Second, what is the best recipe for tumbling dirty coins. What media if any is best? I have enjoyed reading about all the exciting hunts thru 2009, looking forward to 2010. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I feel for all you folks up north, 72 and sunny today in south Louisiana. Bill

Looking for advice on two issues!!

Well Bill, it is clear and still here tonight. Clear up to our *^$* and still snowin'! 
It hung around the 30 degree mark all day, with rain mixed with sleet. Calling for more of the same all night, turning to snow in the morning. Accumulations of 9 - 15 inches. We've still got most of the last 14 inches we got a couple weeks back. Did I mention I hate winter?
I clean my clad with a product specially made for coins. I get mine from a large metal detector dealer in Florida. One media for silver and a different one for copper. I think that stuff is a fiberglas based product. However, I've had decent luck with aquarium gravel and powdered soap. If I am returning them to the bank, I really don't care if they are sparkling clean. As long as they go through the coin counter.
As to transporting accessory coils, one of the cheapest things I've found would be a tennis racket case. Zipper up the side and large enough to leave the coil on that extra lower rod. JMHO HH Randy

I tumble with beach sand and 50/50 water/white vinegar mix ( not too much liquid though) for about 1 hour which works for me.
I pack each of my coils in a bubble plastic envelope and keep that in a shallow plastic storage box.
42 C (105 F) yesterday - got to say I dont mind the heat though.
Hope you guys and girls thaw out real soon up there.

Bill, I bought this brief case at Wal-Mart and it works great for carrying my coils. It holds my 3 - 9" coils, the 2 - 6" coils and my 5" x 10" coil.
