Looking for comments about Infinium

Hi... I've gotten the hots here recently to get an Infinium. Even to the extent of putting up for sale my Lobo. But now I've found Infinium's weigh 6lbs 4.5 ozs. Wow! Now that's about what my old "Mossey Regel " weighs with a full load of Pheasant poppers. I tried holding it by the stock and waving the barrel over the ground like a detector, and can't envision myself doing that very long. What do you guys think? Is this detector (Infinium) worth encumbering yourself that much? Any comments welcomed. Thanks.

When swimming underwater=not even noticeable="",,, On land, the balance is good-feels lighter than a Minelab, depends on where you use it=wet or dry:confused:

Thanks Bugar. My interest is in carrying it up mountains to detect old mining tailings. And...I'm built less like Magila Gorilla and more like that guy that gets sand kicked in his face at the beach! I do appreciate the info. The best........

OH COME NOW, what kind of candy a.. wimp are you? Waist mount it like you should and go do your thing.

Well XT, with digging tools, cel, camera and spare clip on one hip, a 9mm on the other, I'm not sure where I'd put another waist mounted 5lbs.. Thanks for the idea though.

Thanks to all, but, Infinium out, Gold Strike in. Maybe I'll pump iron all winter, and regroup next Summer.
Again, I do appreciate the postings. :beers:
