Looking for Tips on the Shadow X5

Did some trading and ended up with a nice Shadow X 5 with a stock coil.
Any Tips? I hear the like iron... anyway to avoid that?
I mostly hunt old cellar pits here in NH in some nasty soils and trashy area's.

I hunt with a X-5. They pick up lead really good. I basically hunt in all iron mode then disc it out. If you go to disc. mode and still get a nice tone I usually dig it. But if you want to narrow it down. Flip to nickel mode if you still get a nice tone there flip to zinc. If it disappears 9 times out of 10 it is a bullet. The more I use my X-5 the better I get. And the more I like it.
