It will be a week today without doing any detecting, (no, I wasn't in jail:biggrin:) so as soon as Church is over I am at least going to hit a couple of tot lots before the "games began."

I noted Julien's LTD problem and I have one site in particular that will drive my regular F 75 and my LTD nuts, at intermittent times, running 0 disc. and sen. 85 and higher. There are power lines running along two sides of this site and some times I can hunt almost right beside the power lines with only a slight increase in chatter and jumpy id numbers and other times I can't get within 50' of the power lines. It is like there are power surges taking place intermittently. With the regular F 75 I had to lower sen. down to about 30 and use disc. 6 to get it to quiet down enough to hunt...or, move out 50' or so from the lines. This was one of the first spots I took the LTD to to see how it would react. It reacted just like my regular F 75 did. However, (in the bp mode) I was able to leave the sen. at 87 and just move from 0 disc. to 6 with the LTD and it ran nearly perfect. I did dig some clad in the 5-6" depth range and the hits were hard and clear, so it gets at least decent depth with those settings and under those conditions. Since the Titon's aren't in it, its GO VIKINGS! HH jim tn
