Looks like it's going to be a problem getting waterproof headphones for the AT Pro

Been trying to get a pair of the waterproof headphones for the new AT Pro from my dealer but it seems that Garrett has not modified enough for distribution yet. KellyCo advertises them but said that they are a pre order item. And they are not the same phones as the Infinium, but have a different connector that no one has been able to get to modify anything yet. Hope that they get the headphones out soon, or the AT Pro might not be an water machine until they do. Any one heard anything on this?

Well I dont know where they are getting their information. From my information the Infinium and At Pro submersible headphones are the same. Exact same.

They have the exact same product number - 2202100 -. Garrett made it as uncomplicated as possible for design/manufacturing and purchase for the headphones. Why make 2 different submersible HP's. Isnt cost effective.

This information is readilly availiable from the Garrett website and Garrett buyers guide. Check it out.

I talked to Garrett today and the headphones that are waterproof are nort available yet, should be by the release of the AT Pro. The headphones look like the infinium headphones because they are the infinium headphones, but Garrett ran into a problem using them due to the speaker and the old version headphones would not turn the speaker off. So do not buy a pair of infinity headphones thinking they will work because the will have to have a special connector. Also, the dry headphones that come with the unit can be used as long as the actual headphone pads are not dunked.

Yeah I was informed of that earlier but was told it would be corrected. This is typical pre-production glitches that plagues any new product. When the GTI's first came out it was the coils.
