Hi,

How do these units stack up against Eric's for being towed behind an ATV? I have a GP 3500 and so am considering a huge coil for it to tow behind an ATV but these units of perhaps something Eric makes would be more applicable. I'm interested in something that will pick up fist sized of larger items that are anomolous in either conductive or magnetic content. I'd just as soon the unit ignore small surface trash, like bullets.

Steve the problem is they do not have a Pulse Delay(sensitivity)high enough(low number) to detect gold very well. If you are just looking for large gold then it might work, but most of those are made for cache hunting etc. I think also, unless you are going very slow, a target like gold which doesn't hold a magnetic wave very long, it would not energize enough for you to read a target.
