Lost and Found!!!

Has anyone seen ANGELA?
Got home today from work, she's gone again! Aha, the Quattro's gone too!
You guys all think the Quattro is really good but there's one major fault. Everyone who owns one ends up obssessed! You're just like a pack of rabbits digging holes everywhere! That's why I got the Explorer 11 because I wasn't getting any work done with the Quattro! I was out too often!
Have a beer on me!
Garry

Hello,
Found parts of some old horse harness with studs or buttons still attached to the fabric, a couple of bullets, pieces of lead and not much else. Still enjoyed myself!
Cheers Angela:)

Man that looks like some scenery out of an Arnold Swartzanagger movie or something. Beautiful jungle looking place your at. Are you finding anything where your looking, it looks pretty uninhabited? Beautiful place at any rate. Marc Trainor.

Hello Mark,
Which Arnold Swartzanagger movie? I've seen a few, except for the 'Conan the Barbarian' ones. (Loved the terminator movies!) Yes, it's a pretty place, one of two that are my favorite to detect in. It's only a km away from my house, in the eastern branch of what was the old township, isolated, and a bit of a walk in. There's these small white grantite cliffs you have to climb around to get to the site, but once your there, heaps to explore. I've found old stone walls, chimneys, what appear to be aquaducts, and old stone lined pathways leading down to a creek. I haven't found all that much here, because the ground has built up a lot over time, and there are blackberries and stinging nettle growing everywhere. That's why I'm clearing the steps in the photo, which shows what is buried in places. Above the steps, I found a few interesting bits and pieces, but no coins yet. It looks very ferny here, but that's only in the gullies like this one. At the moment, there are huge bush fires blocking our way out of here to a main town, unless we chose to drive a two hour trip through 4WD tracks to get supplies, but we're okay at the moment, and access into this area should be open in another 4 days. The whole town residence of now 12 persons (including us), decided to stay and defend our homes. I've been able to get out detecting now that the worst has past! And best of all, no tourists! The town looks like a ghost town!
HH Cheers Angela :)
