Lost ring

New member
This message goes out to any and all who plan on detecting in the Myrtle Beach area. I recently lost a ring that was VERY important to me somewhere outside Ander-son's Beach Club in Myrtle Beach. I'm pretty sure I lost it in the water, however it's possible it was up in the sand. I am willing to offer a small reward for the finding of this ring. I know my chances are slim but I'll do whatever I can to get this ring back as it was not only old but very important to me as it was the only thing I had left from my grandmother. It is a 10K gold tiger eye ring. I will try to attach a picture of what it looks like. Again, I can offer a small reward should anyone find this ring, I would be more than happy to identify and claim it. Please contact me at bonastigg@aol.com if by chance you should find this ring. Thank you. If the name of the hotel doesn't show up as it didn't in my last post, A N D E R S O N is the name.

Sorry to hear of your loss and I hope someone finds it and returns it. Did you consider renting a detector and looking for it?

Bill

Thanks Uncle Willy and yes, I did however I was on vacation in Myrtle and only there another day after I lost it. I'm now back in NY state and have no way of looking for it. I did approach a man on the beach with a detector the very next morning and he thought I was crazy I think. :) I figured it couldn't hurt though....

Let's hope if he found it he has the scruples we have and tries to do the right thing.
If it isn't marked, if he doesn't read these posts, if he doesn't see a sign or an ad in the paper, He won't have a clue as to who the owner is. I am sure he will just keep it like the rest of us. It has nothing to do about scruples when it comes to an un-marked ring. In that case, the best a person can do, which I have done, is post it to Craigslist.
