I was watching a very interesting documentary about the Enigma code machine used by the Germans in WW2. The top codebreaker was an eccentric fellow named Alan Turing and a friend of his claimed that he converted all of his pay into silver ingots and buried them on the grounds of Bletchley Park, which was the headquarters for the coders. His friend claimed that he forgot where he buried them, and I was wondering if anyone had heard of any efforts to recover these ingots, if the story is true. Thanks for any info.
