Talking to my mom’s neighbor today and of course I brought up my obsession with detecting. An old creek runs behind his house and this was part of Forsyth County Ga gold land lottery early 1800 s. He then tells me about losing his wedding band 20 years ago doing yard work. Told him I think I could find it if has general area. He did went home got Triple Score and 20 minutes later nice tight 35 vdi and surprised it popped out from 4 inches down. Location steep so guess that’s how got deep in 20 years. His wife died several years ago and he was beyond excited. Did find couple old new club shotgun Willys so when more time gonna hit the creek area.
