Lots of copper showing through this one; no doubled eye; no 3/2, but I love those "war " nickels.

Found this 1943 nickel in the low tide mud; it was hardly recognizable..there was so much crusting on it.

Was pleased after "zapping" it to see that it was a 1943 .

Also found '44 and '42 "wheaties".

Keep them old coins comin'!

Also found an old button...difficult to make out the lettering , but I can see "SINCE 1920" and a few other letters around it :DDLE; BAU

Anyone familiar with this type of button?
