Love my Gpp

Hello fellow metal hunters . I received my Garrettt Pro-pointer yesterday and all i can say is Wow ! Garrett went into my deepest thoughts (pertaining to metal detecting) and created the perfect pp.That's kind of my problem ,i want it to stay perfect so i wrapped electrical tape around the whole unit.By doing this i found the on and off button doesn't work the way it use to.It now only works when you press the button and hold it down. And when you remove your finger off the button it automatically goes off. I kind of prefer it to work this way.I never have to worry about if i left the unit on even though the LCD light does a good job alone showing you the unit operating status. They say the batteries will last a long time inside of a GPP i can't help but feel it will last twice as long operating in this manner only time will tell. Thanks Garret for creating the best pp to date. :clapping:

Ive used mine a few times this yr before the snow
I cant wait to try it in decent ground instead of
mud and slush...

Yeah, the PP is a great machine. Just remember that when you start it to keep it away from metal objects... someone (can't remember who) on the forum said that this would detune the pp.
