Had a chance to hit a field today with the VG. Found a bunch of small lead, brass and a V nickel. Field is loaded with iron. Also has quite a bit of coal in it for some reason and the coal sounds off like a broken signal. Still learning the VG but love this machine already. I got pics to post but I have to get my gf to post them because I can't figure it out.

Congrats Sand dog, I'm looking to get a new detector next year, keep my posted on your hunts very interested in the VG, thanks HHHank
