Low level lake = big silver, seated

This is not my normal type of detecting. I much prefer fields or woods but with the drought and low level of this fresh water lake I decided to try this rocky sandy beach area. It paid off with a sterling silver spoon bowl, a Walker (my 4th) and an 1853/arrows seated quarter. I don't love the tarnished look of these water silvers and I've already hot them with baking soda, but hey I'll take it. Note to self: remember your knee pads next you detect a rocky shoreline. OUCH!

Nothing wrong with 3 big pieces of silver !!! Love them walkers and seated coins are extra rare in my neck of the woods. But then again, I'm on the beach 99% of the time.
Extremely rare to find anything old. Its gold we are looking for which has been nil !!!!

Congrats on a great hunt.

Great finds!! Consider yourself lucky , most lakes here are State park areas and detecting is prohibited. You can run your 4-wheelers , motorcycles and dune buggies up and down the beach but you can't detect. More blue state logic at work!!!

Great finds!! That seated quarter is a beauty!

Nice finds that’s my favorite type of hunting I’m out along rivers low tides and beaches had on of my best winters this past with gold and lots of silver!
