Low tide and gold

Bobbie

New member
Enuff with the overtime, hubby and I took off before the phone could ring and I would have to go into work. We hit the beach right after high tide and worked the dry sand for a while, collected some clad and silver pieces. When the tide was finally way out we then hit the wet sand and water. I found a spot where the sand was ripped away by the currents and it looked like it would produce. Sure enough!........I found a small gold ring, a large earring and then 2 dimes and 2 pennies in one single scoop. Our beaches are very sanded in and you know it is bad when you don't even find can slaw or pull tabs in the wet sand. There is gold out there but it is unreachable burried under mounds of sand.
