Lower rods for CZ detectors.

Hey gang. I have managed to track down a nice used 5 inch coil for my CZ70 Pro. I am super excited to use it next spring. My good site that my Uncle and I found should give up some more goodies with a smaller coil.

20+ silver, 4 IH, crotal bell, flat button, and more from this site.

Anyways, my question is this. Can I use any old lower rod from any old CZ to mount my new coil on or does it need to be a CZ70 Pro specific lower rod?

I hope any old rod will do because just tracking down the small coil was hard enough, I can imagine a lower rod being almost impossible to find.

Most any of the rods will work...as long as the coil ears fit the rod. I've used many other brand rods too. They can work with a little modification.

Since any of the CZ(Quicksilver) coils will fit any CZ rod, it stands to reason that any CZ rod will fit any CZ coil.
In other words, you can't buy a CZ coil that will only fit a CZ-70...they fit all the CZs.
