Lowered sensitivity setting?

I have a question for you Deus users. I am hunting the same areas with the same program (Deus Fast) but I am having stability problems when I keep the sensitivity turned up. Last year I ran the sensitivity in the high 80's to the lower 90's with no issues on chattering. This year I am on lower 80's to lessen the chattering. I always run it at 17.6 KHZ. Any explanations or suggestions?

I have a deus and love it. I've been reading about the deus all I can on the different forums. Something worth mentioning is this one gent did a very thorough with it. He commented that he could not see a depth gain with tx increased from 2 to 3. Most of his test were done I think with sensivity between 95-99. He didn't however mention what happened if you lowered the sensitivity and raised the tx gain to a setting of 3. I would give this a try. It may have been engineered that way by XP folks to try and mitigate EMI. My deus is pulling relics out of places I've killed with numerous other high end detectors. If version 3 makes it even better, oh boy.
