Lowrance H2Oc repair

I bought this Lowrance iFinder H20c new about 2-1/2 years ago. After a 1-1/2 years it quit receiving. I called Lowrance and they said since it was over 1 year it was out of warranty. They said send it back and they would look at it. The charge to look was $150. It was only around $300 new. At the time I was so unhappy I just tossed it in a drawer and pulled out my old Magellan. Anyone have any ideas on who else works on these. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge, nobody except for the manufacturer repairs these. Have you tried flashing the firmware - sometimes that is all what's needed to "fix" a unit. Other than that, it's just a door stopper or you can send it to me so I can dissect it for the fun of it and put it in my display case.

Cheers,
Andrew
