LTD and 5" coil

Well-known member
Been able to get out the last couple of days, this old park I found is very small, and difficult to get around in,so hooked up the 5" coil to the ltd and decided to give it a shot! Dont hunt much whith the 5" but was no way to swing the 11",this place is full of downed trees and thick with brush. To make a long story short 3 days later(couple hours a day)dug 18 wheats,1 silver quarter (41) 1941 nickle, some kind of medicine spoon,a baby spoon,a brass ring, maybe a door knock? and other odds and ends.Running,sens.80,disc.0-6,3h tone.and bp.Didnt notice any loss in depth using the smaller coil, and it sure helped in seperating the trash from the coins.Thanx for looking...hh rick in mi.

Good hunt and nice on the silvers. Yep, those small coils are tough to beat in the trash and for hunting close quarters. HH jim tn
