LTD AT THE PARK

Took the ltd out to local park and found 11 quarters 7 dimes and dug 1 clad penny also got a silver pendant. No silver coins yet but they will come. I was hunting in notch 1 cl mode sensitivity at 45 and 22 dis and 4 tones. You can go slow with this set up just like a minelab. That i like a lot. Can hear all the low tones and that really helps when a good sound comes in and they come in very strong. I dug 1 very small nail that hit one way and low grunt the other way, what surprised me was how solid it hit at 11inches and the meter said 12 one way and wound give a short high tone the other way with bouncing numbers in the 50 to 80 range.I almost made a mistake and traded the ltd because it just was nothing like my minelab but now it is proving to me that this baby really will go deeper than a minelab and give good sound and numbers! When the meter says zinc it is a zinc a quarter it is a quarter but the best part is a dime is almost always a dime. Have got a lot to learn yet with all the different settings but that will come. Going this Saturday and try it out again maybe silver is coming soon my way. Happy hunting

Wow, great to hear. I had no business doing it, but I jumped on the LTD bandwagon. Mine should reach me on Monday. I just had such a gut feeling that this was a special detector. I dearly loved my F70 and its small coil but felt like the LTD was a logical step for me.
Keep reporting your progress. Everyone is curious about this new machine and anxious to hear what other people are doing with it.

HH, Don
