LTD dusted off.

Well-known member
Dusted off the LTD this morning. Hadn't used it since the winter relic season ended a couple of months ago. It performed nicely, coming up with 2 fairly deep silvers, a couple of wheat cents and some more modern coinage. My very 1st dug target was the 63d Rosie. It was nestled in a high clump of grass about 7" down in the ground. The 51 Washington was a good 8" deep according to the inch of the Pro pin pointer showing above the ground after removing a bit of dirt. Ran the LTD fairly tame this morning using the 11dd coil, sen 80, disc 4, B P mode, 3h tones and g b of 67. It was fun getting re-acquainted with the LTD and all targets with a good precise pin point locked on quite nicely. HH jim tn

Thanks guys. Mud, The Mn trip coming up shortly is one of the reasons I un-limbered the LTD. That ground is a little tough in the area I go and need all the depth I can get. Plus, it is still my main swing. Love the Omega for day in, day out coin hunting, but for max depth and hunting over tall grass, the LTD is the real deal. Yep, the F 75 is a keeper, El. ez, there has to be silver there to find it. LOCATION, LOCATION. Rick, I've been swinging the Omega for a couple of months, but am going to make the LTD earn its keep for a while. HH jim tn
