Well the heat finally left, and I started out at an old school south of town.I no sooner walked on to that school yard when I started getting a pretty good tid of 83,normally that is a quarter for me but as I swung the coil around it hit 77-78 then bounced to 83 again.I decided to dig and at pretty close to 7 inches out popped the 43 merc!! Wow its been since spring I found any silver. The toys are always fun to dig and it gives me a pretty good idea for dating the area. The other coin like objects are two metro bus tokens,an James Madison thingy?.And what I thought was interesting,a Shell's coin game coin.States of the union,Main. I was running disc.6 sens.80 tones 3h proc.de..all finds where 4-8 inches deep. The merc I assume was on edge,or maybe it was the depth that gave me the wide range of tid,as most dimes I dig are 77-78 strong signals.....hh rick in mi....sorry about the bad pics but still havnt got my camera fixed so I used my phone
