Good job, shooter! I think the Mercury dime is a beautiful coin, even more so when you compare it to the design that followed it...

Were you having EMI issues that caused you run your sensitivity so low?

Dang, Shooter, you must have some really good places to hunt!!! I thought I did good with $1.11 in new coins (which included my first quarter!! yay.) We were having heavy thunderstorms in the area today, but, I managed to sneak in a few hours at a very heavily hunted park that is only about 10 years old. One thing that did impress me........I got multiple targets in a very small space and figured it was some can shrapnel or a couple of tabs, but, I noticed the target ID's could be replicated with some very narrow swaths, i.e. >3". The standard F75 showed a quarter a nickel and a penny, so, I dug it. Found a quarter, a nickel and two pennies, all within a few inches of each other!! I also targeted a tab that would indicate a dime when swinging in a certain direction, so, once again, I dug. Bigger than Dallas, a tab AND a dime within two inches of each other with the dime a little lower. That is some great discrimination!

All I need now is to move close to Shooter!!!

Not sure what you mean by EMI, but get a ton of little pings like the high tone give off and can't figure out what they are, go to pinpoint them and nothing there got any ideas or could it be alot ot junk at the end of the disc. setting.

EMI = Electro Magnetic Interference This can come from overhead or buried power lines, generators, cell phones, vehicle engines, etc. I believe marcomo was simply wondering (I am too) why you would be running your sensitivity at 30? Turning the sens. down is usually done to "tune out" the noise created by EMI interference.
