it has been a while since I last posted anything! seems nobody finds anything anymore? about to turn 74,going to find something and post if I remember how to post pictures?? back to the picnic grove!
 
Depends on location. I'm in a very poor location for old find detecting. The few public areas have been hammered for years. In my area there are no abandoned sites, they get built over. Also our county parks are now off limits. Oh, for the old days.

I find less which causes me to go less. My trips need to be further which also means less short hunts.:stars:
 
Here I found this thimble yesterday made by Henry Griffith and sons Birmingham England dated 1924. Uploading this photo I remember why I don't post much. You have to shrink the size to less than 420kb to post, it's a pain in the arse
 
Nice find and congratulations! An item from the days when pride was put in making an item as simple as a thimble and not the stamped out trash available today.
