Ma had a nice time with my oldest daughter, Susan, and....

her families! Her oldest daughter, Jennifer and her hsuband Brian, had a birthday gathering for their two middle children, Dylan and Eve, born two years apart on July 4th! They had to work over the 4th, so they scheduled the party for Sunday afternoon of the 10th! It was hot but not too bad under the large shade trees and they had a mist line set up that when the wind blew it would come over us enough to cool off but not get wet and a cooler of ice with bottled water, soda and canned sodas! The food was cooked by Brian and the ladies had deviled eggs, potato salad, cole slaw, chips and etc. Then my granddaughter Sarah, Susan's youngest, baked and iced two birthday cakes one each for Dylan and Eve which tasted delicious!

Susan came and picked me up and then brought me back early evening as she wanted to attend Trevor's baseball game! Trevor is Sarah's oldest son...she has two boys...and his team had won 6 games in a row and last night was their final game and they were hoping to win and win gold for the team! I get too tired and cannot stay out in the heat that long to watch a ballgame! My great-grandchildren are all involved in sports, scouts and many things which keeps them busy...but no church attendance! They all need lots of prayers for the salvation of their souls and not be so money hungry by working most of the time! They like their expensive gadgets and big toys! OH well, hopefully, they will answer God's call to come to Jesus before their mortality ends! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Glad you had a good time....Praying that they will all Come to CHRIST BEFORE IT'S TO LATE.....

Thanks Boo, I have been praying for years and years and Tami has come to Him, but needs to grow more spiritually, although she has a sweet spirit, but too sensitive to what others say, especially about her and cannot take people dying...really upsets her, but I think it was because she lost one baby boy at 3-1/2 months of SIDS....Crib death...it nearly killed her! I don't get to go anywhere very often and this was the first time I had been down to my daughter's and granddaughter's homes for too many years! So was especially nice to see them all again and two of the smallest great-grandchildren I had not seen at all! One is Connor, a redhead like his mom and his great-grandmother, me! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
