MADE A BIG CHANGE!!!

St Bernard

New member
I was all set to order an MXT all PRO and cancelled that order. I ordered a V3i with a few extra coils. I should have it next week. I have had several older detectors a few years ago. This will be a learning curve but being retired
I have all kinds of time to play and learn this detector. I have downloaded the owners manual and have read it several times and will keep reading it so I have some idea of its workings. I also watched several videos on You Tube
with quite a bit of information. It will be lots of fun wish it was hear now. Thanks

You sure did make a "big change". Congrats! There is some excellent reading by looking up Rob's old posts. If you have a test plot you will find setting the V up for YOUR soil will be easier, so will learning how it's vast array of tweaks impact the reporting of targets. I've had mine more than 4 years and its a heck of alot of fun. I dont post as much as I used to but seeing how you switched your choice like you did I had to chime in.

Thanks for chiming I Ytcoinshooter. It will be a learning curve but fun also. How do I find Rob's old posts? interesting. I am going to set up a test plot soon as the rains stop. Thanks

See Rob (IL) at the top of the forum thread list. The search function works well too. Spend some time studying the pinpoint nuances to pick up on the probable conductor based on frequency responses and youll discover another unique capability.
