Made an interesting find......

Mike Hillis

only not with a metal detector.

Was up at Taos a couple of weeks ago and found this interesting button in an Antique shop.

Of course I had to have it.

This is what was etched on the metal on the inside of the button:

Did a little research on the local #11 Lithographer shop of Rochester NY and found out this button was made between 1950 and 1962. Still not sure yet who it was made for.

Pretty cool to find an old lapel button with your name on it.:clapping:

I did a little more research on it, and found out that it was made for a guy named Hillis.

Pretty cool find, even if it wasn't with the detector! Too bad it didn't say "Hillis for President", eh?
