a little while today. Drove over to the town where I used to live and hit 3 schools there. First one maybe got 75 cents new stuff. Second one got a small gold ring with a black hills gold daisy on it. Not marked unless one area that looks like a mark but is not readable. Probably 10K judging by the sound the detector gave. Third one maybe 60cents and one of those nice junk rings that you wish was real gold and diamonds. Instead of 2.oo would be 2000.00. Did get a one dollar coin where I got the gold ring. Sun was out but the wind made it a little cool. Snowed a little on the drive over. Hope all had a good weekend.

wish the USA would do away with the dollar bills like Canada did. We sure would find a lot more dollar coins. I think in 10 years I've found only 3 or 4

Congrats Mike in getting out :detecting: and for finding gold and the dollar! Always makes you feel good when that happens! The clad adds up though and will buy needed batteries and other supplies! Get enough and you can buy a nice old coin or two! :clap: :)
