Maintaining Integrity

There are so many temptations out there, temptations that can so often lead to moral compromise. How easy it is for a traveling staff person to pad the expense account? How easy for a man to sneak a few looks at Internet pornography? How easy for children to lie to their parents? How easy for folks to cheat on their taxes? How easy to overindulge in food and drink? How easy to cheat in school. How easy to . . . and the list goes on, and on, and on.

Read the following accounts. In what ways could these men have so easily violated their integrity? What can we learn from these stories? As you read each account, think of the background to these temptations, think of all the pressure on these men to compromise, think about how easily they could have rationalized another choice.

Genesis 39:6-12 (New King James Version) "Thus he left all that he had in Joseph

That"s why we need Jesus . Temptations are strong and only with Jesus help we can over come .
Remember The rat will take you where you don't want to go . Make you pay more then you want to pay and keep you longer then you plan on staying. and if you fail and you will . Be honest with God . He already knows what you did . He wants you to be honest with yourself and then you'll see the face of Jesus. ---- Later Graw

The integrity of man in the service of God, in the name of Jesus, will always do good and not stray from the teachings of the Living Word through the Holy Spirit's guidance, Who leads us into all truth as we ask and seek Him, dailly! Once our word is not found to be reliable, we suffer the consequences of not being able to be believed in many, many ways! These ways are not fulfilling our promises made to one another and to God, the banks and financial institutions will not trust us to pay what we owe, so very difficult to borrow money to help us to get through crises that come up in one way or another! Therefore, a person is as good as his word and won't compromise in doing what the world does by truly knowing and serving Jesus and telling the truth no matter how embarrassing or brings hurting shame to us! Let man be true and every man a liar, until saved and filled with the Holy Spirit of God Let us stand on the Word of God by telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help us God and continually do good to others as the Lord leads us in the Bible and His Scriptures which are godly wisdom to the one who believes and holds them to be truth for righteous and godly living! Amen! May God Bess! Ma Betty
