Anyone know what the black strap is for that comes with the Makro pointer? Looks like a carrying strap, but not sure what it attaches to.

update. had my new makro pp for a month now so far working great. sure is nice to be able to just wash it off under the faucet . been very wet and muddy here in Mo lately.

Can anyone tell me about how deep it will point? I know some go 2" some 3" , what is the Makro depth? Thanks flintstone

Me & the wife was hunting the other day & she uses the Garrett couldn't reach the signal but I found it with my Makro! When you turn the Makro on it's on 3rd setting not full strength but it will increase 1 more level & increases depth. Hope this helps.

It's about 1/2" better than propointer in general.
