Man I hate my email....

Pete in MI

New member
someone sent me something B I G and after 15 minutes it still is trying to get onto my computer. I tried to stop the email - hoping I could delete it only to find Outlook Express won't stop trying to download it.

If anyone sends an email over a meg without asking first or letting me know in advance I think I might have to block whoever is sending this. I can't get my other emails until this piece of ca-ca is downloaded..Grrrrr

Please be kind - don;t send forwards or BIG emails without letting people know you have something BIG first. Thanks

 Thats funny

It wasn't me, but thats funny!!!

someone is sending the same piece of crap to one and maybe more of my other email accounts. I can't read the email from anyone until this trash is downloaded to my hard drive...time for new email accounts and not tell anyone what they are

I know it wasn't a friend who would do this...an enemy hath done this

did it finish? Was it worth downloading?

it just hung the email system then disappeared. Both were web mail accounts that I get using Outlook Express. I went to the web mail figuring I could maybe delete the items from each of the accounts there. There were no huge files or anything unexpected...even the Viagra email wasn't really unexpected (stupid spam).

After going from web mail back to the Outlook Express it again tried downloading whatever it was again. The real pain is knowing there are say 4 messages on the server and this one has to come down first before I can get to the others....and I couldn't get these weird ones out of the way to get to the others.

I finally went to web mail deleting all the emails for both accounts...now all seems well with the world...except I still have no idea what oor from who the problem originated.

O I know it was Satan.

Satan, or an overseas investor that wants to give you some money to deposit into you account, He just wants you to send him your banking information and SSN to complete the transaction.

Has anybody gotten that spam before??? I got that one 2 times a week for months!!!! I cant beleave anyone fell for it, but I saw it on the news that a lot of people were duped into that scam. When it comes to money, if you didn't earn it, its probably a scam!!!!

Hope everything has been taken care of with your email problem! I hated a lot of emails and usually deleted them before opening if I didn't know the sender, but did get fooled a few times and had problems then!

With my new computer I have so much protection that almost nothing can get through and I have to open those that can't get through to see if they are good ones or not! I haven't added a lot of email addresses as yet, and those not added to my address book can't get into my emal!

It is a shame that so many ignorant people out there want to harm or destroy computers or the people themselves! May God have mercy on us and rebuke the devourers!

God Bless!

I get one of those every other week. I'd be rich if I got all the money from all the different people who had money for me.

If teens used as much protection as we put on our computers there'd be no out of wedlock babies by teens.
