Well, I went back to my old reliable hunting grounds, and decided to look around the camping areas. I found a '39 washington, a 1918 merc, and then the signals just kinda died off. I normally only hunt coins, but decided to dig some of the lower signals, just to have something to do. Between the two, they weigh in at 1.64 ounces. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper! I'm trying to locate the owner of the class ring now.
Happy hunting!

Excellent finds! and very kind of you to try to locate the ring's owner.

Sweet rings! I have been digging the lower tones too--not many coins left at my fav spots. Still haven't found a gold ring. What VDI numbers did your rings come up at?

The wedding band was bouncing anywhere between 68 and 73. I normally don't even dig anything in the 60's, but like I say, I was running out of coins to dig. The large class ring came in at a solid 80. It was about 8 inches down. I was quite convinced that it was a penny. The wedding band was only about 3" down.
HH!

Nice ring, I'm still learning the Atpro and ready to hit the lakes and have some fun! Conrats on a productive hunt!
