Manticore + M9 coil = Silver!

Day two return to the woods today. Different area, different machine, different coil. This area has really produced in the past but has been dried up for some time. It's not a large area and I've been over it countless times.

Today I wanted to give the M9 coil on the Manticore a trial run. All I can say is wow! M9 coil was absolutely on fire! Did very well in dense brush and exceptional depth! I've only read about this but it really made my old hunted out spot feel brand new again. Absolute sniper of a coil, phenomenal depth, pinpointing and target ID couldn't have been better. Here's to wishing all my frozen in friends are able to get out and hunt soon! JJ

Agree with you on that.----That M9 coil has brought several of my beat to death hunt sites back to life again.

Whaaat ! No snow, where you at ? Ha ha. Nice haul, congrats on the triple silver hunt. Whats up with the date on the Merc on the right ? I zoomed in and it Looks like a mis stamp or error of some type. The back looks like it may have been full split bands before it got worn. Collectable for sure, possibly even valuable. I would get it checked out. As far as the Manticore w/ 9in. coil, my results were the same last year. In a couple old hard hunted parks the Manticore kept finding me keepers all year. So yeah, great combo. Good luck on your return.

Good info thank you! Will get it checked out. We're expecting snow sometime in the next week. It's a gift for me to be able to hunt in February
