About how much God has blessed us.We are so much of a perfect match, her and I.Same hopes,hobbies......Believers,....Looking forward to the future.....The other day,we went to a jewelry store, and I found a nice wedding band...Wedding plans are going smoothly.Everybody at Marcias Church is so excited for us....They all stood by her when her husband died in 2011,and the bottom fell out of her world....2011 was not a good year for me,either:divorce, back surgery......I met some other women before Marica, and basically, turned and ran,not the right one.......BUT:When I asked the LORD for guidance,......It is just so amazing and humbling, how well it has turned out,IN EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE.....AND THIS TIME,I JUMPED IN WITH BOTH FEET.......I knew from our first meeting........I JUST KNEW.........this was and IS,GOD ORDAINED.....And whom knows us better, than the NOE WHOM MADE US?????Amen.......:angel::clapping::wave:

I think you hit on the truth...most people look for what 'they want' and never ask God to be a part of the relationship. After 2 failed marriages and both Sherry and I agreed no more - we wanted only to be there for each other in case one was invited to a dance or similar - friends!. Little did we know God had plans for us. Been over 10 years of marriage together and we can't stand to be away from each other. God gives GOOD gifts and Sherry was definitely a GOOD one He gave me.

I am truly happy for you both. May God continue to richly bless your relationship with one another. Personally...I prayed the same prayer and it's been over 25 years and I'm still patiently waiting for our Heavenly Father to bless me with the ideal woman in my life. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that he's either not going to or I still need to 'wait' for His timing. Actually I've gotten to the point that I don't look anymore. If it happens.........it happens. I've gotten to the point where I'm reasonably content with being single and learning to live with it.

need another husband or not, lfor I've learned to lean on and trust in Him and his beloved Son, Jesus, which would have happened had my ex and I stayed to gether, so I praise God for knowing what is best for me and it wasn't with an unfaithful and unloving ex-husband! Still pray for you a loving wife if God's plans works it that way for you, Martin! God says it is a good thing for a man to find a wife and a saved one at that! Amen! Ma
