MARK 1

The mark 1 is the best analog detector made but not the best Tekentics made, The T-2 is by far the best Tekentics ever made.

I should know, I have both and still use each one for special types of detecting. I'm a long term Tekentics user including the Mark 1, In the right hands the Mark 1 is an excellent detector but the T-2 with a trained user can do remarkable things no other detector can.

You need to spend more time with the T-2, Then you will realize your comment's on the Mark 1 are pointless. The Mark 1 suffers iron masking, That is one of the two weakness' it has. The other is poor stability in mineralized soil, No comparison between the two.

Enjoy the mark 1, You're missing a great opportunity not fully understanding what the T-2 can do.

And several others....I'd prefer the Mark 1 over the T2 and all of them....But it's a preference thing only! Not necessarily is it the best detector on the market....It's just the best for me, and I've tested many!

Anyone got a goofd Mark I for sale?

I apologize if my post sounded why out in left field, The Mark 1 is a very good detector. Quick response and can still hold it's own with most of today's detectors.

I can see you really do enjoy your Mark 1.....If you can, try to learn more of the what the T-2 has to offer, it really is one heck of a detector once a user overcomes the learning curve.
