Today I found a ladies gold ring with what looks like a nice size diamond. Instead of having a 10 or 14K there is a number 417. It looks like gold,sounds like gold and the meter reads 130 the same as other gold rings I've found. Anyone help me out on this.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll have to take it to a jewlery store and have them check it out.
