Having recently purchased this machine, can anyone tell me what the reading(s) will be (approx) when it locates things like gold rings & jewelry, silver items etc.?

Also so, what usually is a 5 or a 5+ mean?

I usually find rings somewhere in the pulltab area, which is around 4.5
