It has been toasty here in the N.E. as well. I wouldn't mind so much if the ground were softer. Rain has been sparse and the ground is like one big rock :rant:

Good luck, let us know how you do. It hasn't rained here in a tick over three weeks so park and yard hunting are out. The unbearable clouds of mosquitoes, heat, humidity, and chiggers make field hunting unpleasant so I am riding an armchair for a bit lol.
 
Here in WV the ground is in good condition but morning hunting would also be best here, most days are getting into the 90s with high humidity. Last time out not a stellar hunt, only a couple of wheat pennies so hoping to do better next time. Let us know how your hunt went.
