There is a nice motel on the lake that allows me to detect any time I want. They have a beach, grassy area and water I can detect. Have yet to detect the grass. Hit the beach a few times and the water only once but this has been a good producing area.
Sad is they recently put out a for sale sign. Seems something happened with thier mortgage and to find another one costs much more than the one they had before...there was an imbezzlement of money from a business up here...think it was their original mortgage company. They are still hoping for an affordable mortgage but so far they are putting the place up for sale. Nice people too.
Praying they can keep the place and find a mortgage they can afford.
So this may be the last time I get to detect there. Here is the totals for today along with a (lousy) picture of my finds (I really do need to get a new camera).

Scored a 1927 Buffalo Nickle, a 1948 Nickle too. Was surprised at the number of nickles to other coins found...
5 - quarters
19 - dimes
41 - Jeff nickles (not counting the Buff and the '48 nickle)
1 - Canadian nickle
1 - 1927 Buffalo
1 - 1948 Jefferson Nickle
31 - Mem. Pennies

Will be bummed if this couple lose their business - and their home....and my favorite beach area.
Only time will tell. May God bless them and meet their needs in the name of Jesus.
