mc cain says he will cut the federal tax on gas?what say you folks:shrug:

Good, I live in Chicago and we have either the highest or the 2nd highest taxes on gas in the nation. I just heard that on the news on Monday!!!! Any help would greatly be appreciated... Now weather it actually happens is another story. But I'm voting for him this election.
 
I like McCane but was told that because it was for a short time and was only .18 cents a gal it would only save on average 25 to 30 dollars for the whole summer. WOW a whole 1/2 tank of gas WOW. Also was told if this happens it could cost 1000,s of highway workers their jobs

cut the fed tax, state tax, any other tax, and then another $2.00 per gallon off that! :)
 
They have to have sponsors of any legislation that they want. Then both houses have to pass the legislation. As far as 1000's of state workers losing their jobs, many states hire temporary summer time workers and those jobs would be in danger. Asphalt is one of the byproducts of oil production and surely has risen in price. Many states are feeling the decreased inflow from lack of jobs and as here in Ohio where we had a Tax and Spend Liberal with a Republican label, we are almost bankrupt. As I said before, a lot of our gasoline problems are related to the Chinese economy. Their industry isn't anywhere near as efficient as ours. Their goods are cheap but it's costing our jobs and higher fuel prices. There are no free lunches.

about 44 cents. only 14 cents is federal. the state would drop their share it would make a difference.

Even if it takes congress to pass anything, I will certainly vote for McCain and if Obama, who is an ultra liberal and a muslim, or Hillary, who is a liberal but not as much as Obama , and who would steal and tax us to death then Oh My, so goes our nation! For sure we should be ready to meet Jesus in the air!

They both are promising everything and will give you nothing but a hard way to go and live! I am a Christian and that is my idea of the whole election coming up! Let us pray for God to be in control by giving us godly wisdom to vote the way He would desire us to do!

He goes to a church a C.I.N.O. type of church, where the "pastor" made many racist remarks from the pulpit over the years. The pastor had the church honor Louis Farrakan, leader of the "Nation of Islam" an extremist group here in the United States that hates whites and Jews. "Pastor" Wright went to an Islamic nation in Africa, Libya, to honor Farrakan there also. Yeah, that Libya, Mommar Quadafy, the flight over Lockerbie, Scottland that Islamic terrorist blew up. Please tell me how someone can be under that kind of racism without being influenced by it? The liberal media doesn't have the guts to ask him that. I'm not saying McCain is a saint either. The Lord God Almighty is in charge and may give this nation what it is asking for.
 
I rec an email that had been written to a friend in America from a Christian Missionary in Africa! Obama has relatives there and visits them quite often! He agrees with Jehad and if he getts elected he will be sworn in on the Koran? and the muslim and Islamic radicals will take over! If you want to read the email, please send me your email address by PM!

This is true and this missionary knows of Obama and his relatives personally and he is not a Christian but maybe I have some of it wrong as I have a hard time remembering everything that is written or said! This is one thing I know, we don't need Obama or Hillary as president of the USA!

that the oil we have under our dirt is more than enough to keep our country afloat in gas and oil for over 100 years....we have tapped into it...we just haven't released it to our own people.

What I am guessing is someone wants to wait til the other countries run out...then we can charge them even more than they ever charged us...and we of course still get the dirty end of the stick.

The guy I am talking about is related to Sherry's family and is a higher up - not just a wrench monkey. So he knows the truth...just no one wants the truth to be told.
