we live upstate in stratford, but john is from down here in long island,we have to come here in the winter for his work, usually dec.-apr. or may, i am from the country and mountains, so i dont like it here.i cant wait to go home.i am homesick.we detect here at the beaches on his days off,i dont go out alone, i would get lost,i dont like the city!people are in such a big hurry here!you look out the window and see houses and people and its so noisy! back home, you look out the window and see deer and mountains and birds and turkeys and yep,a bear or 2,and have to go a ways for a neighbor, but i still love it better there.johns family is all here, but i miss mine.i'm being patient.we brought our cat patrick here with us,he follows us everywhere we go.i love all gods critters.so, heres the pic you asked for, and a little info. thanks friends.

Bigger pic and now we can put a face with a name!
Glad you are posting more.

Very nice pic, glad to see ya posting here. My wife is from LI - terrible place. I was there 2 times - happened the same day = first & last time :) Steve in so az

Glad to "meet" ya! Lol. Good pictures. I would feel the same way you do if I were stuck in the city. This country girl loves her friendly neighbors, wildlife and peace and quiet!

Now I can see what is in the pics...thank you for a larger one and you and your hubby look great...just hope you both are able to get out and detect more and that you get to go back home soon! I was raised on a farm but I've been in St. Louis, MO since I was 17 years of age after graduating from high school, so I guess you could say that I am a city gal now, but have lived in the county more than in the city itself, so not so bad! I am in So County of St. Louis and have nice and helpful neighbors! Been in my home since 1974 and taken root so may never leave until I absolutely have to do so! I like it here, as it is handy to everything within a 5-10 mile area! May God Bless you, John and your grandson and other loved ones! Amen! Go get the gold and silver!  Ma Betty
