Hi all,
Love this story about showing the bigmouth up! I've used Minelab GP's on the goldfields down here in Australia, but for sheer fun I have a Garrett Ace 250. It's a lovely machine to use. Besides the obvious coin finds etc it's found small nugget gold on some of the most heavily mineralised ground in the world - the Australian goldfields. Because the Garrett people managed to get so much into such a small and sleek control box, many people think it's 'toy like'. In fact, it's simply the outcome of first class engineering and design. I've been prospecting now for almost 30 years and I've been published often in relevant magazines. My own field test of this machine appears in the biggest and most prestigeous hardcover book in the world covering the sport, so I can make some small claim to know what I'm talking about. Wave that sleek yellow wand with pride, folks. Your using one of the best.
